"The place is super nice. Location can’t be beat. Breakfasts with having kids was so nice and easy. Rooms were super clean and comfortable size. Bedding was also really nice. We used the workout rooms, hot tub, and rented the sauna that is on site from Tin City (highly recommend)! Only complaint was I called ahead and asked for a cot and they said sure no problem we’ll make a note and have it there for you and then when we showed up they said they don’t even offer cots. Made for a cramped stay...

"I visited MBL over 20 years ago. Finally made it back and fell in love all over again! The lodge, the service, the location was just as I remembered! Stayed in one of the loft cabins and it was perfect amount of space and was very clean. Tofino is one of my favorite places on the west coast!"

"Unique location on Cox Bay Beach. Great surfing, our surf lesson with Mia and as amazing. Staff on reception were polite but a little less effusive than I expected. The place has a casual vibe and I think it’s important not to let casual bleed into apathy. Dining staff were for the most part charming and attentive as we have come to expect from Canadian hospitality. It’s a great hotel overall, comfy, cosy rooms with plenty to do in the local area. "
