"The four of us (partner, myself, two dogs) stayed for a week (6 nights) in early September. We were looking for a place to relax and that is what we got. Our dogs loved the yard, trails, and river. I would say that for us, the listing under sold the property a little. For those who have dogs it is important to note that there was a large collapsible dog crate, it is shown in a picture but is easy to miss. "This cute little cabin was awesome...right on the water and we had big plans that weekend. Unfortunately, I had to DJ a last minute wedding in Port Huron and we couldn't stay. We literally only spent the night sleeping there and that was it. Would love to come up & try again sometime. :-) "

"Being Black in a predominantly white community our Stay was pleasant, great view, fishing and atmosphere. Most neighbors were welcoming however stayed to themselves. Local Businesses were very friendly and welcoming. Owners were excellent host as well. Will love to comeback again one day."

"My wife and I booked the house for an anniversary weekend and it did not disappoint. It is in a very quite and peaceful area and is a great house for relaxing in. Getting to enjoy the wildlife in the backyard while just standing in the kitchen as well as the wildlife seen on the short walk to the lake was a plus. Getting to see the fall colors starting to show as great as well. The screened in porch is a great place for some outside relaxing that still has light if you want to be out there...

"The price for a beachfront property is unreal! We had our own little slice of heaven on the beach AND had kayaks to play on. There are tons of sleeping options provided for the price. The house is small and the neighbors are close so it didnt feel very private but each encounter was friendly regardless. We had a few issues upon arrival including: a fruit fly problem throughout the house, dirty/sandy dishes and bed sheets (on one bed), and an overall lacking of kitchenware essentials (eg, foil,...

"This cottage is perfect for our family to stay at while we were in Michigan to visit our family. The porch area was perfect for morning coffee and the view over the river was peaceful. There was plenty of space for us all to have our own spot to sleep. We will come back and hope this place is available when we do. Reached out to the owners and they responded promptly. Would recommend to anyone staying in the area."

"We really enjoyed our stay with my adult children and 3 small grandchildren. The setup was ideal to provide some quiet and privacy for the different families. It was especially nice to have the upstairs for quiet time for our 3 month old baby. We found everything we needed for our stay and the home is very close to stores. The beach was perfect as were the decks where we enjoyed outdoor dining in the evenings. We look forward to coming back again soon. "
