"Stayed overnight on a dinner bed and breakfast rate. The hotel staff were friendly and welcoming. The room was nice but the bathroom was in need of an upgrade, that being said it was very clean. Inner was fantastic all meals are homemade to a very high standard not a frozen item to be seen. Breakfast again was a good. Very central to the centre of Lancaster. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone."

"The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The staff at breakfast time, were especially helpful as I have mobility issues. The breakfast was very enjoyable with lots of choice. The hotel is in an excellent location, close to the centre of Lancaster as well as on the lovely river side walk. We would definitely stay there again. "

"its a lovely hotel, fabulous view, comfortable accomodation. the lake walk is pleasant, and the walkway maintained to make it reasonably accessible but not fully pushchair / wheelchair capable. its great that its dog friendly and animals are allowed in and around the place food is very nice, all made to a very high standard. it is pricy but its very pleasant and you dont feel short changed. a good location for a special event. "Lovely hotel. We had a room upgrade as it was a birthday which was great. Customer service when we arrived on reception was not great. There was no enthusiasm to see us or smiles from the man. I think he was new as unsure in himself. But even so he could be more welcoming "
