"The cottage is cosy, clean and very inviting. Shiskine is a wonderful place to stay, quiet and very appealing. It's very close to Blackwaterfoot, which is beautiful. The Kinloch Hotel does marvellous meals (takeaways too). What really makes the stay worthwhile is the landlady, Jan. Last year, when we couldn't get off the island due to ferry problems, Jan put us up for an extra with no charge. "Lovely property in a fantastic location. We were within walking distance of the pub and the bay overlooking Jura. The kitchen was well equipped and the main bedroom spacious and comfortable. Central heating would make this a perfect house for a break. "
