"Wonderful find for a one night stay. Pros were the pool and pool area, close to. Lucca proper, clean and large room, and excellent air conditioning. Cons were that there was no breakfast even though they're listed as a B&B, no room safe and a shower that worked well. But even with these minor cons, I would totally stay again. Yes the rooms are older but no matter. The staff were excellent, bed was comfy and did I mention how much I loved the pool!? Thank you for a great stay. "

The apartment we stayed in was okay - we knew it was in the basement of the villa, but it was very dark. "We loved everything about Relais San Lorenzo. Daniela is a wonderful host and nothing was too much trouble. The building is beautiful and dates from the 17th century, but everything is in top condition and works really well. The location is absolutely perfect. Very highly recommended. This was our first time in Lucca and we loved the city. We hope to return and will definitely stay in Relais San Lorenzo again!"

"Beautiful castle that would be so much more enjoyable with just a few changes. Windows need to be able to attach to shutters so will stay open and not blow closed with wind. "The Toscana village is great - so relaxing. The long stay owners are very friendly and helpful, as are the staff. The onsite bar/restaurant is good, as is the pool. There is a local town in easy walking distance with many old buildings, nice bars, and places to eat. On Saturdays there is a food market, so you can stock up on salads, fruits, vegetables, meats, and cheeses, etc. We can't wait to go back."
