"I would say this hotel is adequate. Not terrible or amazing, just ok. I didn’t expect it to be anything particularly special for the price, but a few things were disappointing. Firstly, there was no air con, which was pretty horrendous in the sweltering temperatures. Other let downs in the room were: no kettle/coffee making facilities, no soap etc on the first night (we did get them after that though), and, despite being a double room, it was actually two single beds pushed together. "La Quirinale is a beautiful property, centrally located in a very nicer area of Rome, and within walking distance of the central train station and many famous sights. The staff are excellent and the restaurant is worth a visit. The only problem was a mix-up regarding the pre-arranged pick-up at the cruise terminal but, in the end, it worked to our advantage as the cruise line got us a much better deal last minute on a taxi to the hotel."
