"We had a wonderful time at the Hilton in Hiroshima. The rooms were large and had great beds, towels... The pool and hot tub were an extra treat. It was easy stroll from the hotel to Peace Park and to the train station and other sites from the hotel. And most importantly, the service was impeccable. After very full days, we decided to eat at the hotel both nights, which was unusual for us. We didn't make a reservation at the buffet but they squeezed us in anyway. "This is an old school honestly, but with nicely separated living spaces (shred bathrooms). Not squeaky clean, and a bit outdated…but human and not without charm. The owner is a super courteous dude. You may need a car as it is a few kilometers 40 minute walk from the train station. The payoff is the silence and chill vibes out here. I enjoyed my stay. "

"The hotel is very close to Kurashiki station and walkable distance to Bikan historical quarters. There are many shops and restaurants nearby shotengai/roofed shopping areas. The room was clean and has basic things you need. The microwave in the room was a nice touch. I bought breakfast at the grocery store next door and warm up my food. Overall, great price and very convenient location. "
