"Glencoe is a lovely old house with spacious rooms and high ceilings. Irene was extremely welcoming and informative. The room was comfortable with a really comfortable bed. "We booked a 3 night stay in a beautifully restored B&B, 155 year old mill. What we got was a lie. It turns out, the place had not had visitors stay there for months because it is run down and inhabitable. Instead we were put in a 1960s 3 bedroom house. That in itself would have been ok, had the place not been caked in dust on carpet, curtains, couch, soft toys scattered all over the house.... "Although the property is older we were happy to discover the bathroom was brand new and the property was clean and well appointed with everything you would need eg cooking equipment, wine glasses etc. Being in amongst the forest and the trees and seeing the local wildlife was really lovely. We could only stay one night but I would have liked to have stayed longer. Not super close to Cradle Mountain but fine if you have a car. "
