Very nice atmosphere in the old style building with artistic touch. The room was well prepared and we felt very welcomed. We also enjoyed the food and drinks at the bar.
Good base for what we wanted to do in the area. Room spacious and clean no tv in room. Little expensive compared to some places we have stayed in while travelling around Tasmania

Spacious accommodation. Quiet and close to Mole Creek Hotel which provides very good Tassie Tiger pies at a reasonable price.
The atmosphere was amazing! Wonderful food and service. Room was comfortable and clean.
We came here as a stop over from Cradle Mountain and was not disappointed. Not only was the room comfortable and worth the price (particularly given the time of year we visisted), the staff were all very friendly and the whole place has a wonderful atmosphere. If you visit and like being able to mingle, we definitely recommend the set dinners they offer from Wednesday to Sunday. You get the chance to mingle with other patrons of the hotel as you eat and the food was amazing quality!
Definitely recommend if you are ever in the area. They do have limited rooms, so you are best to book.
Had a tough time finding our way into the accommodation as we did not receive any special instructions from hotels.com and there was no staff since the brewery was closed for business. Our sim card wasn't able to make calls and luckily Susie replied our fb message and guided us into the premises. The bed was comfortable and we enjoyed our stay. It was a waste that we arrived on the days that the brewery was closed for business. Otherwise, it would have been perfect.
Old school hotel which is fine, has a lot of character but is a bit Fawlty Towers with instructions as to what you are permitted to eat and the requirement to clean your own dishes after breakfast. I understand that some guests could/would try to exceed the allocated breakfast but there are ways to do that without becoming overbearing with written directions.
An older hotel well renovated. On-street parking on the outskirts of a small country town. Dinner menu was limited but OK. Breakfast was self-serve cereal and yoghurt.
100's of weird larvae in the window seal which made their way into the bed. Young bloke in reception came up, vacuumed, changed the sheets and we moved the bed to the other side of the room. Gave me a complimentary bottle of wine which was nice, but we had a terrible sleep worrying about larvae crawling on us (which they didn't). Woke up to find the window seal full of larvae again. Bought a 4 pack of beer to take home with me, only to find they were out of date when I got home. Lot's of potenial, but need greater attention to detail
