"Pre check in email was very useful about how to find the nearest car park, but missed the part about not being able to book the parking for more than 24 hours so you have to sit for your current session to expire before paying again. Check out time was incorrect stating 1100 when booking email stated by noon. I reply to confirm but didn’t hear back from property. "AVOID THIS PROPERTY. Stayed in December and could not get the hearing to come on. No support from the owner or hotels.com. Came home a day early but refund for last night refused by owners. Bathroom stank and room was a basement. AVOID AVOID AVOID"

"Great stay from very helpful hosts. The apartment was very well equipped and I was even provided with some items for breakfast, which was a nice touch. It was immaculate throughout and very tidy. Fantastic shower. Due to a busy weekend I did not have the time to enjoy the bath. "

"The property was exceptionally well placed for visiting Chester, only a couple of minutes walk from the centre. The apartment was clean, warm and the beds were especially comfortable. Parking at the property was very accessible and for parking before check in and after checking out there are 2 cheap car parks (£1 per hour) a few metres away. The property would benefit from having a few coat hooks. Would definitely recommend."

"Stayed for one night for a catch up with friends and a visit to Cheshire Oaks. Very well located to the outlet stores and also to the centre of Chester for food and drinks in the evening. The property was good value for a one night stay, not the comfiest place we've stayed but had everything we needed for the night. "Fantastic apartment in a great location for visiting Chester. Parking is located a bit away from the property and can be a bit difficult to find but only a minor thing. Everything else was really good including the communications from the owner. Highly recommend. "

"The property is in a excellent location and very comfortable, and as described. A few small plates and small bowls would have been useful. The only downside was the garden needed tidying up and we were not able to sit outside as cushions were wet and dirty. Having said this i would stay here again especially if the above garden issues was rectified. Overall a excellent property to stay in chester."

"The property was decorated to a high standard based on the area of Chester, located in a quiet area with own parking spot and an easy walk into Chester. I had to contact the owner prior to arriving and he couldnt have been more helpful and responsive. Chester is a beautiful area and i would definately stay at the Roman retreat when we return "
