"We stayed here for a ‘quirky’ hen do. It was amazing! We hired both yurts and enjoyed the use of the cabin kitchen space and the fire pit area. Cleanliness of property was outstanding. Hosts were happy for us to decorate for the hen. The yurts, however, needed very little decoration thought as they have fairy lights everywhere and look amazing in the dark…really magical. Would totally recommend staying here!"

"View is stunning, location is great, extremely pretty valley, Vyrnwy Lake & waterfall was a pleasant surprise. Shared spaces are great, well stocked kitchen and utilities. Loads of room for a packed house to be together or hang out separately. Lots of lovely decorative touches. "Fantastic location next to the canal enjoyed watching boats going past. Nice walks around and other places nearby. Only thing wrong with the discrimination of the property is it says it has a hot tub but it has a bath inside the house and no hot tub outside. We still enjoyed our visit "

The property is very close to grocery and retail shops with Chester and Cheshire Oaks Designer Outlet a short drive away. Gary is the perfect host and we loved the personal "meet & greet". Overall - decent hotel

"Great service, excellent food and the drinks offering was exceptional. Best I've seen in any hotel. Breakfast was decent too. Spa and gym facilities were excellent, loads of equipment. I had an executive room which was the best on offer. It was tired, not particularly clean either. Loads of dust behind the TV and there were stains on the bed runner. The door handle of the bathroom opened directly on to the edge of the shower glass, stupid design floor. Someone unknowingly opens the bathroom door too hard and thats a disaster waiting to happen. Needs addressing urgently. Finally, the lighting in the car park is very poor. Extremely difficult to see where you're walking when moving from the gym back to the hotel. Aside from that, the stay was great. "
