"This is the best motel we have ever stayed at. We would pick staying here in Alexandria Bay again in a heartbeat. The room was so comfortable and clean and we enjoyed the 20 minute walk to downtown."

"Everything was excellent. The breakfast was hot and fresh daily. The Restaurant is outstanding. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The view from the room was magnificent. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. I slept soundly and woke up refreshed. The only thing was that on check in, the young man didn’t seem to know that they provided bottles of water in the room. He sent us up the highway to buy some. Enjoyed our stay immensely. I wish we could bring our little dogs though then we would book a longer trip. "

"Captain Thompson's resort is an outstanding resort. It has the best location of any in Alex Bay. It is within walking distance of everything. The view of the river and Bolt Castle in units on the main channel is second to none. The staff was very helpful and professional. The manager, Lisa, was exceptional! We plan to be a regular visitor every year."

"Girls trip...3 elder sisters plus second generation niece and her 2 daughters. We all agreed everything was perfect at this location. From bedroom choices to outside porches to full kitchen amenities everything we needed was at our fingertips. Location couldn't have been better. View of the St Lawrence, glimpses of ships traveling in the distance, perfect weather and wonderful flat hiking right in the neighborhood. The area was charming and steeped in early history of the thousand Islands perfect at this location"
