"We loved our stay at El Placer! Quiet, comfortable home on an absolutely stunning beach! We took an amazing 8 mile (round trip) walk along the beach, and only met a few fishermen along the way. No other people for miles! A memorable day and experience! And Ricardo was a kind and very responsive host. Would absolutely recommend staying here! One thing to note: the mosquitoes can be quite nasty right around dusk, so remember to cover up and/or have bug spray handy. "

"This property is very clean and spacious. The ocean view from the patio is breathtaking. Easily accommodated party of 5. Easy checkin. Quiet surroundings. Great communication with Host. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend. Things to note: Large clean pool. Two person kayak available for use. "We have no idea what this was like since we never got to stay there. The host contact number was not in service. We never received any check in instructions and we went to the property and no one was there. We paid and reserved this weeks before. We were in the middle of nowhere in a foreign country in a taxi with a 4 month old baby in the heat without being able to get into the place we paid for. "We went to Xcalak not really ,knowing what to expect…we arrived to the property and made ourselves at home…we walked around town and most looked at us like we were as new in town as we were..this only lasted a few days and then everyone greeted us with a friendly smile and a Hola wherever we went Xcalak is the town time forgot…it’s a place where relaxation can truly take place…we ate at most of the restaurants in the area and enjoyed every meal…nothing fancy just real food The house was fine...

"We totally enjoyed our stay at Villa Jaguar. Chris respond quickly and was always available. The condo was beautiful and very comfortable. The location was wonderful with a beautiful view. The beach is rocky and you have to walk about 10 minutes to town but the road was easy to walk. Town had wonderful food along the beach. Overall would definitely stay there again"

"Everything was great with our stay Oct 26th 2024 for one night however when I booked 2 days prior it said I would be charged at the property at checkin but was still immediately charged $75.94. When I checked in at the property on 26th they charged me another $76.90. It has been 3 calls now to request a refund and 2 weeks after still nothing. This was my only concern."
