"The apartment is nicely renovated, inviting, and well laid out for living and working while you stay. I had to do some remote work during my visit and the home office space was a nice spot for it. The house is in a pleasant residential area that's a short drive to downtown Haverhill and the commuter train to Boston. Everything was clearly explained and communicated - check in, check out, navigating the space, etc. Local pastries waiting for us upon our arrival were a lovely touch!"

We booked a 2nd floor apt but 24 hours before, Nelson let us know there was some weather related damage and moved us right to the 1st floor. "While the property is fine and in a good location, there are some major drawbacks that I must warn about. I messaged the host for two days before she responded with check-in details just a few hours before we arrived. Once there, the door code did not work and it took myself and two VRBO employees 45 minutes to get in contact with the property manager. VRBO said they called 3 different numbers and then gave me a number to text on top of that before we were able to get in touch with her. The...

"This property is large, except for the bathroom, with one nice tv, fully stocked kitchen and bathroom and perfect for spending nights. A directory with info such as wifi password would be helpful. Several light bulbs are missing/burned out. "
