"When we checked in, they couldn’t find our reservation record which we paid in advance to Expedia. we booked a lower rate room with no breakfast and have to pay at the spot (US$60 cheaper than what we paid to Expedia). When we checked out, they refunded us what we paid to them but not the amount that we paid to Expedia since they already received the payment from Expedia."

"I would like to thanks Lina (Senior Sales Manager) for her warm welcome on the second day. Overall, Ascott would be still one of the best places for business stays. This time round I’ve tried for leisure but it didn’t fail in terms of convenience. Hotel was a little outdated as I believe they haven’t done a touch up in a long time, mini golf course wasn’t cared for, indoor swimming pool and gym an okay size. I could see some slightly warped tiles due to water in my room but nothing of great...

"I arrived late due to flight delay. The front desk was nice but there was a dis-connect of my booking that the hotel could not verify my identify only because the U.S. spells my first name into first and middle name, in China it is my first name. Anyways, he could pull me up with my U.S. phone number but I would say birthday or email address might be better way to verify incoming guests from outside of the country"
