I decided to stay here again because of my pleasant experience in my last trip at Doubletree. However, this time time round of staying in this hotel, the experience was unpleasant and unacceptable. I registered in the morning but was told that the room was not ready and I will have to come back in the afternoon. However, upon coming back to the hotel, around 4pm, I was served by Wendy Wu at the reception and she was extremely rude. She said that we already checked in this morning and the room was dirty that's why we didn't check in. However I told her that that was not the case as we haven't even gotten our room key. She just kept insisting that the room was dirty that's why we didn't check in and started being rude and aggressive in her tone. She then threw the card key on the counter which was so rude. Upon checking the card, she also only provided one card. I had to go back to the counter to ask another receptionist for assistance as there were 2 of us. I really am very upset with how rude Wendy Wu was. I don't think this is how the service of Doubletree by Hilton should be. I am just so angry, upset and feeling unacceptable at how the service standard of this hotel is now. I called reception and made a formal complaint. They tried to make up for the situation and as the lady apologied. I eventually left after 1 hour because the room aircon wasn't working. Too fedup by the whole experience.
