"We stayed just one night having previously been here for a lovely meal. All the staff we met were very friendly and helpful, the room was excellent and very comfortable and we thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast. I am sure we’ll be back again."

"Very attractive gastro pub off the beaten track. Excellent food and range of drinks. I was fortunate the weather was glorious so an evening in the beer garden was appreciated. The room was a good size if only a little dated. The large sash window offered little in sound proofing but had the most glorious view across a field of sunflowers. "Good Stay - but could perhaps offer breakfast a little earlier sue to working requirements. The place is very clean and is very close to the town centre. Very friendly owner and the rooms are great. I have stayed here multiple times. "

"Wow !!!food mas amazing very big portions our gratitude to the cook and staff service from the staff top points praise them breakfast was truly great and the stay was great one thing to say would be the room we where in needed the cobwebs hoovered away there where a few it was very spacious and a rare treat was the shower we did stay 2 days we could come and go as we pleased we did book the restaurant.our bed and breakfast was value for money will revisit again . "

"In our 2-night stay we had no contact with anyone else at the hotel, but could hear othwr guests a little from our room. Check-in was easy with guidance sent in advance, and the room was cleaned well during the day. The accomodation was clean and comfortable, although the common areas were unlit during the day so quite dark. A small amount of shampoo and shower gel was provided, and the room had a kettle. "We were given room 4, apparently it has an Infamous reputation as the lad who looks after the hotel called a few hours before check-in to ask if we wanted to find alternative accommodation due to the amount of complaints they have about this room. Unfortunately Hotels.com were not especially helpful in changing our booking and we were about to set off so opted to just keep the room. It is at the top of the hotel, 4 flight of stairs up. "Spotless.ly clean & lovely interior design. En suite very good & had a lovely slipper bath. Breakfast was exceptional with lots of choice to include pancakes & omelettes as well as traditional fry up. Hosts gave great attention to detail & were very happy to give advice & information to enable us to have a really enjoyable stay. "

"The single room room 1. Was a good size with sink and balcony door open to key breeze through. .the staff were great and very attentive. They gave me a fridge as i was there 1 week.. I appreciated that. I WOULD Definitely use lyndhurst again"

"We enjoyed our stay - the property was clean and is well looked after. It is a traditional chalet in a private holiday park which has some good amenities - at an extra cost. We appreciated the help from the owner when we needed it and was helpful at answering our queries before our stay.
