We had come over to America from England, for the first time, to visit our Son who has a soccer scholarship at Central Maine Community College in Auburn. This was the most amazing 9 days in New Gloucester at Taildragger Stables. "The apartment is just as pictured. Very clean, cute neighborhood, easy access to shops and restaurants. Definitely consider the paid parking because there are so many street parkers even in off season. The kitchen is well set up with pots and pans, silverware, glasses etc. Beds are comfortable and there are plenty of towels. Very easy to get in touch with landlord with questions. Great idea lace!"

"Great location to walk to the beach or to the pier. The top floor requires many steps so if you have a hard time with mobility this would not work for you. We loved it! So clean and well stocked with dishes, appliances and cookware. The recliners are the bomb! Bed was comfortable as well. Two air conditioners which kept us comfortable. The site is on point with their description and photos."

Owners were very wonderful and responsive when we had a question about the wifi and came out the next morning to fix a lightbulb issue we had noted just for their reference. "This was our first time to New England (my aunt & I), and we stayed for a couple nights here to experience the beach life in southern Maine. This was such a cute beach town, lots of quaint beach shops, great restaurants (including Johnny Schuck’s which totally changed my mind on lobster - if you stay here you have to get their lobster roll!), and of course the beach.
