Beds very comfy, kitchen had everything we needed. Only downside was the shower which had very little power and was therefore disappointing considering everything else in the cottage was quality. Overall a lovely family break"

"Lovely spacious well-heated house in beautiful countryside. We had a week of snowy weather which was heavenly. Edward, the owner was extremely helpful. He towed out some cars which got stuck in the car park by the house, provided lots of logs, replaced the washing machine which had problems and was generally a great help. This is a house for people who like old books and furnishings...don't go there if you want modern posh."

"I didn't have a pen so I couldn't write in the visitors book but oh my, what a lovely cottage. Just as described & as it appears on website. Ideal location a 5 minute walk into town centre, Lidl opposite, but not visable from cottage, for anything you might need. Perfect, will hopefully be back."
