"I recently stayed at this house with friends and family. In total, we were 8 adults and 7 children ranging from 1-15 years old. It is a very big and comfortable house. It is in need of some TLC, the decoration is old but that is shown in the photos and reflected in the price. "Property seemed nice on arrival but very basic kitchen utensils etc, dodgy fridge, dirty bathroom with hairs on floor, sides and a collection within the bath plug hole... "The property was nice and clean and as advertised. What made the experience very special for my wife and I was the interaction with the property owner Nick and his partner as well as his family. They were kind enough to arrange for us to have a chef cook for us all three nights of our stay which was wonderful. "We really enjoyed our stay, the wood fired hot tub worked surprisingly well and was quite quick, the kitchen was well stocked with pots pans utensils etc. There was a dehumidifier to control the moisture and it really helped dry our swimwear. The adirondack chairs in the morning sun were great for breakfast and the internet was very fast. Bathroom was bit small for two tall people but c'est la vie, the shower was surprisingly great 👍"

"We stayed at Great Higham Barn for a friends hen do. Across the main barn, oast, cherry and plum cottages we had the perfect venue for a hen party of 38. Mandy was very accommodating, relaxed and helpful. The venue itself is stunning, good amount of space in the kitchen, snug area was perfect for ‘downtime’ and the rooms were all good sizes. It would be helpful to know upfront that the futons are included in the no. of people to sleep in the barn. Thanks again"
