"Its the kind of place you would have expected to see The Trotters visit in Only Fools and Horses. You could see Delboy and Rodney propping up the ship cabin bar. The hotel opened in 1931 and dedicates a lot of wall space to Enid Blyton and Noddy. So be prepared for some very retro decoration. All of which adds to the hotel's character. Over hearing other guests say it's listed, this explains a lot about the lack of upkeep and real maintenance. All staff were friendly ans helpful. Dinner was ok,...
