"This was our first time in Colonial Beach and we really enjoyed it. Definitely recommend renting a golf cart to get around town. The house is beautiful and in a great location close to everything. The homeowner was also great to work with and we’ll definitely be back soon!"

"This cottage was right on the main road in Colonial Beach. It was very clean and comfortable and tastefully decorated. The kitchen was fully equipped for cooking. The outdoor area was relaxing and had a fire pit and grill. The location was close to everything in town. You could walk to the beach and many stores and restaurants. We love the area and hope to return soon!"

"The house is a perfect retreat! I watched the sunrise from my bedroom and porch with my coffee each day of our stay. My parents live just 2 doors down. I have been coming to this neighborhood since the 70's. I still love hunting for fossils on the beach. Thank you for allowing us to book this spot!"

"The house was incredible. My husband loved the master shower! The kids enjoyed the beach and swimming. Our youngest son (39) paddled the creek in the kayak. Our oldest son was able to dock his boat. The house had so many amenities. The kitchen was well stocked. There were games and books for all ages. We hope this home is available whenever we go back to visit family. Thank you, Victoria, for being so gracious!"

"This property was lovely and very well stocked with all of the necessities! The bedrooms were nice with comfy beds the kitchen had everything we needed for cooking including for the crab boil! Catching the crabs and fishing off the dock was a big hit with the boys! The paddle boat and kayaks were fun and enjoyable! We will look them up on our next trip to the area! Perfect stay!!! "Two couples stayed for a long weekend during an historical heat wave. And even with the heat we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves with the shadinees of the of tree canopies over the hot tub and the very comfortable covered porch.The secured umbrella stand on the dock also allowed us to spend ample time on the dock, and some of our party also kayaked. The house itself was the perfect size for us (only the lower bath being a little small) and very well appointed. We will likely be back to enjoy some...

"I was looking for a nice, quiet, and relaxing, vacation. This property did not disappoint. The house was comfortable, cozy, well stocked, and so clean. The view is incredible. Just sitting outside watching the river was so "Zen". I had one of the most restful vacations ever. I was there for a little over two weeks and I would have stayed longer if I could have, Kim, the host, was very friendly and helpful. I look forward to staying at this beautiful property again."

"An amazing, secluded property that is perfect for a family or friends getaway. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and there were plenty of bathrooms. The property could improve by having additional toilet paper, shower toiletries, and towels, but the kitchen was very well stocked and there was plenty of seating. It really is a great house."
