"The hotel is in a beautiful location on the seafront and we saw a spectacular sunset. Our room was very clean and felt comfortable and luxurious. We loved being able to sit and look at the sea out of the bay window while we had our morning coffee. The reception staff were lovely. The lady at the desk on Sunday afternoon when we arrived made us feel very welcome and at-home. We love the magnificent old building with its original features. We're already planning another visit and hope to try out the spa facilities and the breakfasts next time."

"Stormy weather closed in from the West and we chose this hotel as a halfway point between home and our destination to break the journey. The following morning, staff were very friendly and helpful looking up local weather and road reports for us and offering to extend our stay if needs be. "Fabulous! A truly relaxing home from home, with friendly and professional staff. We appreciated the quiet of our room ( we didn’t hear other guests), it's draftproofed sash window with view over the seashore, along with a comfortable bed and sufficient space in the room to be at ease. We really enjoyed the warm, cosy and relaxed atmosphere downstairs , the character of the place and tasteful interiors, and last, but not least, the delightful christmas tree in the dining area! And both breakfast and dinner were very tasty."
