"I used this accommodation to visit The Open golf at Royal St. George's, Sandwich and by the time I was able to book there was very limited accommodation available in the area. Becket Court is a student hall of residence on the campus of the University of Kent in Canterbury that offers bed and breakfast accommodation during the summer vacation. The bed was so comfy, and the addition of the electric heater in the bathroom was perfect; it made the hop over the to the toilet in the middle of the night bearable. "We had booked a boat on the Thames for my 50th birthday for bank holiday weekend.. two days before we were due to leave it was cancelled due to the rivers being on red alert.
