"Even though it was for 1 night, I had a wonderful time staing at hitel Marad. I had a hard time getting to the hotel by public transportation (not sure if it was due to the sunday schedule but the nearby bus 001 E was hard to find). Once in the property, you have to walk down the path and the reception is on the right. The host apoke englisj. Checkin was quick. Once you get in the room, slide your key on that machine on the wall to activate the light switches; otherwise, the switches wont turn on. The hotel recommended me pizzeria Mennella for dinner (forst meal of the day) and I was very satisfied. The pizza order is a whole pie but it was so light that I wasnt bloated or stuffed at all. I ordered a tiramisu and baba au rum (soaked but not mushy at all) from their bakery next door. I went to bed very happy. The breakfast was continetal style but it was really great with many choices. Hot cocoa available upon request. Again, my stomach was satisfied without the feeling of fullness. For transport convenience, the front desk can call a driver for you. Each ride for me was 30€ which was good pricing overall. Although he didnt apeak English, making the effort to speak italian will motivate him to go above and beyond. He was very flexible with pick up time when i was done early with my activities. He also kept my luggage in his car, picked up my portable baterry from the hotel (I forgot it at checkout), and got me to an early train for Rome. Im very greatful to the staff. "

"Incredible place to stay with incredible hosts. Stayed at this place for a month as a solo traveller and couldn't recommend it enough. The hosts were incredibly warm, welcoming and hospitable. The place is walking distance to local shops, cafe's, public transport, and more importantly, pompei ruins. Incredible experience."

"We had a great stay at Hotel Herculaneum overall! The hotel and its facilities were clean and well-kept. Our room was clean and had everything we needed. It even had a lovely balcony overlooking the street! It was tidied up daily and washcloths and bathmats were replaced daily (there is no Do Not Disturb sign - which we didn’t mind). There was a slight drainage issue in our shower on our first night (which caused a little flooding) but the issue seemed to have been fixed by the time we returned the following evening. The front desk staff were amazing; they were friendly, helpful, and happily answered our questions. The surrounding area was safe, considering that the hotel is steps away from Herculaneum (safe for tourists). The hotel’s best feature is its location - aside from being right across Herculaneum, it is only a 10 min walk from the train station (Ercolano Scavi) which is where you can take the Circumvesuviana line to go to Pompei, Sorrento (Almafi coast), and Naples; therefore, it is central to all of these places! "

"The staff and the condition of the property was great. We were here because of an early flight out of NAP and the property is close. Found the property to be clean and more upscale than many small hotels in Naples. They arranged for our early car to the airport and it went smooth as silk despite people still out celebrating NYE at 3:30 AM! Great pizza place 2 doors down. We felt lucky to find this place."

"We stayed in the executive room with the jacuzzi bath in the room and it was simply the best, the room was huge, the bed was super comfy and the jacuzzi was absolutely amazing the staff were so very helpful in every way and it was a gorgeous hotel, the shuttle bus was superb to get you into the city centre and back, we would highly recommend this hotel "
