"The property was better than the pictures! A beautiful secluded location with only nature around you. We had a fire one night and all the makings were provided. Dawn went above and beyond on the comfortable decor, quality bedding, and the original artwork. She made us feel welcomed immediately upon opening the door. Would definitely stay again!"

"The place is beautiful. Great views. But if you need to get a hold of someone, good luck! Nothing works inside the home. Shower, plugs, fans, dirty toilets. Nearly 45 degrees inside the home when we checked in. Took hours to warm the home. Unable to communicate with anyone regarding any of these issues."

"This location had a large number of beds so everyone could spread out and that worked well. No complaints on the rooms except more closets would have been helpful since we were all going to a wedding and everyone had formal wear to hang up. The back bathroom and back room with a bed that was used did not have privacy curtains and we had to drape sheets over the windows. "The location was awesome. Beautiful being on the river. Host was very helpful and made our kayaking experience fun. We enjoyed fishing even without success. Beds were comfy, may need new pillows on some. Very interesting furnishings. A bit of a museum, which we enjoyed. Could use a minimizing of things, but we loved the space and would definitely do it again. A lot of history here.💕"

"Booked the place for a long weekend with our family of 5. View and location was wonderful, ample room for all. Cleanliness was not up to our standards, however, particularly in the kitchen and one of the bed sheets appeared not to have been washed. What was the most disappointing however, was the fruit/crop flies in the kitchen. We are michiganders and are used to bugs however the kitchen was infested. We had a difficult time cooking and eating because of them. My kids were very happy to return...
