"The rooms are so cozy and the facility is very non-corporate. I like the uniqueness of this hotel and the authenticity of the experience. The staff is real and friendly. The rooms all have a balcony which is so enjoyable a freeing. Unlike the stagnate claustrophobic feeling of corporate hotels that are so afraid of guests committing suicide they lock the windows shut, which feels insulting. The fact that there is a balcony is a sign of good health. "

Everything about Lakeside was easy—check-in, parking, unpacking, having our dog with us, the on-site restaurant (delicious food!!!), and the well appointed chalet.
