"Our second visit to the Blacksmiths Arms. Stayed in room 11 which was one of the little cottages at the rear of the property. Very comfortable room with full length shower in the bathroom. The food was outstanding with a good breakfast selection and delicious evening meals. The staff are very helpful and friendly. There is a bus stop on the main road every half hour to Whitby (via Robin Hood’s bay) and Scarborough in the opposite direction so we were able to leave the car and travel by bus....

"This place is a little gem. The food in the evenings and the breakfast is first class. If we lived local we would definitely return for a meal. We stayed in the smallest accommodation they have available which has the worst reviews and whilst the room could do with a little TLC the overal experience of the accommodation and stay was excellent for the price paid. "
