"This unusual property has been sensitively renovated to preserve a wealth of original features. The light touch gives visitors a chance to glimpse what life might have been like when it was used as a farm house for the chateau. While very close to Cordes, the setting, beside fields and in amongst trees, makes it a very peaceful location. During our stay many bats, stars and a few meteors were seen in the night sky. The pool, with its fence for keeping the deer at bay, was wonderful!"

"Slept so well in this quiet retreat in older part of town. On warmer days feel like sitting outside with the large sliding door open. Apartment appointed with anything you might need. Nearby pharmacy, bank, Casino and cafe and brasserie and restaurants within 1 km walk. Good takeaway kebab just steps out the door. Lovely market and easy town to use as base for visiting Lot and Cele area with many medieval towns, Peche Merle, etc. Would stay afain anytime back in this area."

The cottage is set in the most peaceful location we have ever visited with no noise or light pollution so the perfect place for relaxation and refreshment. "Refuge au calme, au milieu de la pierre et du bois, des oiseaux, chauves souris et escargots, à proximité immédiate de la rivière domptée mais encore sauvage. Avec un jacuzzi certes gonflable et non en résine, mais quasiment parfait sous le ciel. Découverte, nature, préhistoire et histoire, détente et gens pas stressés et sympas, en plein parc naturel classé UNESCO mondial, à juste titre. What else ?"

"Sylvaine and Patrick were generous and helpful hosts, Patrick helping me with a puncture and Sylvaine giving us home-made jam, garden tomatoes and eggs from her own chickens. During a heatwave, the interior was always cool and the pool was large, clean and indispensable after a day of adventures. It’s hard to imagine a lovelier gîte, or nicer people."
