"A great choice of property, this old Monastary has retained its character whilst being cleverly decorated for the purpose of a hotel. The lovely blonde lady receptionist was efficient and professional - very impressive. The restaurant staff and manager were fantastic and delivered a good breakfast. The bedroom carpet was stained and seriously needed spot cleaning. The tissues were empty on our arrival but despite us leaving the box open, they were never replenished. If the hotel is not providing them, at least remove the empty box. The location of the hotel was great with easy access to the public transport, walking distance to the city, shops, restaurants, castle area, river and a local SPAR. We really liked the feel of this hotel and would definitely recommend it. And it has a lift."

Stellar staff. The "Chain View" room is totally worth the extra price. Note that the standard-size room may be cramped if you travel with lots of luggage: We had two full-size suitcases and two rollaboards, and we had to arrange things carefully. Special mention for the breakfast, which was delicious and hearty. A perfect start to a busy day of touring the city. The rooftop bar has amazing views, but the food/drink are merely OK. Would absolutely stay here again on our next trip to Budapest. We had considered staying elsewhere, but are truly glad we chose this hotel"

Situated on the Danube Promenade, the view of The Chain Bridge and the magnificent, elevated Budapest Castle District across the river, is breathtaking - especially in the evening when the attractions are lit up. The impressive Parliament building is also just a short stroll away. The local area is bursting with options for dining out, shopping and transport links; whether you require the bus, the tram or the metro. The hotel boasts a pool and spa. The breakfast selection is excellent; offering choices of hot food as well as a huge variety of other options to suit all tastes. The staff were friendly and efficient."
