I enjoyed sitting the garden when I arrived for a glass of wine and snack. It's about a five minute walk to Santa Maria gate to Centro. Maria, the owner, and Nadia, her assistant, were welcoming and attentive. "

"The location was close to the promenade and beach. A lovely park was directly across from the property. It is a perfect place to walk to the train station, beach, restaurants and shops. It was a quiet location as well. The owners are lovely and very accommodating. The train made seeing Lucca and Cinque Terre a dream come true for me. I highly recommend this place. "

After a day I realized that, but then the remote had no effect in setting temperature, etc. I sweated every evening. The noise outside prevented me from leaving the window open. "This hotel is actually not a hotel but a few rooms attached to the villa volpi hotel, a 10 minute steep walk up the hill. All meals and staff are found at villa volpi, there are no real facilities to speak of at suite accommodation. It's not as discribed in the information at all. In fact, we chose to upgrade for €70/night to stay at villa volpi. I would recommend villa volpi but not suite accommodation "
