"5/5 star property. You never have to even leave! Staff always went out of their way to make our stay special, turndown and cleaning service was great, bfast buffet was 10/10, and property is just stunning. We also did the cooking class on property which was awesome and the hotel also set up a wine tour for us and it was great to be shown small family wineries. Such a jem of a hotel, I hope we can come back soon! "

The home was very well equipped with all kitchen items necessary to prepare meals. AC was not available, but was not necessary, however fans were available. "Great original Tuscan retreat iwith an stunning view over the hills from the pool area. Nice and pleasant family running the place and a perfect base for exploring Tuscany. Only small improvement is some of the beds which are a little hard."

"This beautiful property is a 20 minute drive from the closest town (Ecole d'Elsa) but was perfect for day trips to wineries, medieval towns, Cinqueterre/Pisa and authentic restaurants. Drives into town were fun with wonderful interactions with the locals at butcher shops and bakeries. The housekeeper was delightful and very helpful with excellent recommendations for dining out."
