"For a first time ski weekend this hotel couldn’t be better! Located just by the ski lifts, secure ski lockers were provided. The room was very cosy and warm, clean, well equipped, warm soft light and hot showers. The staff were very friendly, helpful and accommodating. On last day we were able to store our belongings in the locker and take shower in a separate space for departing guests. "I benchmark a 5 star experience against chains like the Peninsula. This was a total surprise. Ski weekend and this hotel is perfect. The staff is all in sync and have consistent, excellent professionalism and are just nice people. So many conveniences here for skiers. Right at a chair lift. On site ski rental. Parking. Shuttle. "This hotel was quite lovely! The breakfast buffet was excellent! Finding the street and entrance to the front door was hard because google maps says you are there...but you are on the main drag still...so don't plug in the address on the website. But it is a lovely hotel and i would stay there again."

"We are two senior Canadian couples on a road tour of Spain and Portugal. Monasteries de los Basilios Hotel was a very welcome find! The hotel is full of history, easy to find with parking close by (about 150 metres to indoor secure lot. From reception to housekeeping and breakfast, we enjoyed our entire stay!"
