"Stayed there for a trade show at the convention center next door. Perfect location. Free breakfast. Restaurant and bar on site. Skyway from hotel to the convention center. Comfortable rooms. Couldn’t ask for more. "

"Loved the atmosphere of the hotel and rooms. All the staff were very friendly and eager to assist in whatever was needed. Rooms were cozy and spacious, however the lighting was problematic. There were 3 lamps, but no light in the main area of the room which made it difficult to see without using a flashlight. Overall, we were happy with the stay, and would consider it again for our future travels. "

"The cleanliness of the priperty was outstanding. Their housekeeping services are truly phenomenal! The room was decorated beautifully, the fireplace was so cozy to sit by and the room was spacious for the 2 of us. The size of the bathroom was great with a nice, large jacuzzi tub, separate shower and double vanity! Truly, for us, the only downfall of the hotel was the noise from other rooms. "Dated property but fine for the price. Motel style with large glass window outdoor entrance to each room, can hear everything if people walk past. Checkin and out were easy staff was friendly, just is what it is for the price."

"My wife and I decided to spend our 23rd wedding anniversary in Galena. We haven’t been to the area since middle school for field trips/school ski trips etc. we live about 2.5 hours away so it was a nice scenic drive. We booked a cottage at the LeFevre resort and it did not disappoint. Everything was exactly as described. "The rooms could use a redo! The mattress in the pullout needs replaced as they are probably older than me and covered in stains. The TVs could also be upgraded. The shower was amazing however and I appreciated having toiletries in the shower. The staff is top notch. The room we booked wasn’t available when we arrived but the front desk made sure we got into a room that worked for us. Would stay here again soley based on the staff! Great restaurant and shopping options all around. "

"We were in town to watch my son, a student at Loras, compete in the track meet at University of Iowa Dubuque. Perfect location, great house - we loved the colors and decor, super easy to find and our hosts were super responsive. Will stay again!"
