"Very nice house nestled in the downtown area. Really clean and plenty of room. A couple things to be aware of, there are steps to access the home that are old concrete steps that can be difficult if you're bringing in a heavy suitcase. There's also steps to the upstairs bedroom/bathroom, so keep this in mind. Also, there isn't a working washer/dryer. I used the laundromat that was close by, and it was nice. Otherwise, a nice, quiet stay."

"The apartment was great for a weekend away in Dubuque. The location in the Mill Work District was perfect with different restaurants and bars within walking distance. The check-in process was extremely easy, and the apartment was very clean and stocked with all of the amenities and supplies you need. "The owner did a great job refurbishing an old building in the heart of downtown Dubuque. The unit is comfortable and has all the necessities to cook a meal and have a good nights rest. There is a farmer's market on the street Saturday mornings and there are numerous shops, coffee houses and restaurants within walking distance. You can hear the train horns in the night which comes with the location."

The first night we enjoyed sitting on the balcony although the view was not the best I misunderstood the parking situation- it said parking available and on street parking which I thought it was free.
