"It was a nightmare week for us. Great property but not as advertised. They didn’t give us an accurate location until we arrived in San Teodoro to a property we thought we were going to. It was advertised to be in San Teodoro but it was 4km away from San Teodoro, in Straulas. We didn’t have a car, we were stranded, it was very difficult and very expensive to get a taxi, the buses were limited which meant we could only access San Teodoro for a short period of time, the children were miserably...

The weather was perfect (sunny and hot), the island incredible beautiful (best beaches ever) and the house in an absolutely privileged location (a bit hard to find), had a breathtaking view, nice swimming pool and well taken care gardens. Modern, elegant and simple decoration with all that we needed to enjoy our stay (except for air conditioning in the basement room, but plenty of fans.....). The owner provided all sort of information for shops, restaurants...

"Best host ever! The view is amazing although location is a little far away from town for dinner and shops. Having a semi private beach and deck chairs is a massive plus. Bring your own beach towels. I recommend the home made Lasagna from La Bottega Alimentare. And dinner at La Suara Longa."

"We loved staying at Villa Carla for a week, it was in a gorgeous setting and so close to some really lovely beaches and was the perfect setting for our family to relax and enjoy each others company. The people were so friendly and Lorenzo who helped in the village so really helpful and answered any questions. We loved driving around Sardinia, you definitely need to hire a car to get anywhere, nothing is in quick walking distance but the location is great being next to Palau so we also were able...

"We stayed at Porto Istana for 10 days and it was an outstanding experience. The home is well appointed with everything you will need for your stay. The pool area, BBQ and outside living space is absolutely perfect…not to mention the VIEWS! It is possible to walk to the beach - a bit of a distance but we did it many days. There is a great bar called Geko that serves cocktails and great pizza / lunch. You will not go wrong choosing this home!"

"Stefania was amazing and incredibly attentive, the house was lovely though not quite what we expected from the photographs and description, the bedrooms are lovely and it's been very nicely decorated however the kitchen area doesn't get much light, you need a light on all the times. In the description it mentioned there were 2 bathrooms, however, the second bathroom was a small outside shower at the bottom of the garden.
