"The hotel offers less than expected. As a Resort & Spa it's expected to have Resort's facilities and to be a spa which nothing more than swimming-pool was found. The service was the highlight, particularly at the breakfast, both Marco and Valentina did everything they could to make our experience the best. Congrats to this team! "

"This hotel has been renamed The New Hotel Palace. It was grand, beautiful pool area, ornate lobby and sitting areas albeit somewhat dated. The staff was lovely. It was very quiet, guessing that it was off season. The breakfast was not enticing, a bit disappointing. The same foods were out for 2 mornings so there was nothing that was fresh except maybe the loaf of bread to toast. "

I couldn’t find any reviews on the pool before we went so I will state that it was perfect too, great temperature and rarely too busy, during the day we had it to ourselves largely. We would love to return and would highly recommend. I’ve never checked in to a hotel before and been given the owner’s phone number! It’s a very special place. "
