Adorable Historic Cottage one block to Lovers Point and Downtown

"House was very clean and comfortable. Appreciated the edgy post modern architecture. Even in winter the outside space , the barbecue and hot tub, were usable. We loved the big tvs and the upstairs space with its balcony. Loved the steam shower. Some small things; the light switches are a challenge, the laundry needs servicing, we couldn’t get the French Press to work and it would have been nice to have some Keurig pods for the machine ready for at least one night. "This house has everything possibly needed. Very thoughtfully stocked and supplied, and efficiently laid out with comfortable and tasteful furnishings. Very scenic location above the main part of town, and easy access. Particularly enjoyed the courtyard dining table. Unfortunately we were there during a heat wave, and hardly anything in Carmel has air conditioning, so it was hot in the house. Supplied fans helped. Some traffic noise at times from busy street just below house, not noticeable...

"Such a wonderful stay for our group of six! The house was immaculate with plenty of space to spread out. The location was perfect, walking distance to restaurants, shops and the ocean. A few minutes drive to Carmel and 17 mile drive. Would definitely stay again, the neighborhood is so quaint and safe."

"This 2 bedroom, 1.5 bath bungalow was updated/remodeled and quite comfortable. Great coffee maker! Mattresses seemed relatively new (always a bonus!) Our stay turned out to be during an unusual heat wave, so we wished there had been AC, but perhaps this is usually not a problem in that area. The only not so ideal things were that the exterior patio was quite dirty, the trash barrels were fully covered in cobwebs, wasp nests and spiders. Ocean and Cypress Hill Golf Course Views entice peaceful tranquility!

"We booked this house to cerebrate my mother's 80th birthday. We were a group of 12 with two babies under 2. Everyone had a comfortable room and access to bathrooms. The house is a little dated but the view and location makes this house very special. We gathered around the fire pit outside and loved our walk to the beach. The kitchen was super convenient. We had a great time and will book the house again. "

"Our three generation family flew in from across the US to spend a long weekend in Pacific Grove. The house is quite roomy and well appointed. The grandkids loved the quirky nooks, twin bedrooms, and large living spaces. Much of downtown Pacific Grove is within walking distance, as are parks and Lovers' Point on the bay. There is no yard at the house to speak of, but several parks are within a 6 block radius. We'd love to spend more time at this rental, should the occasion arise. "
