"We chosen this spot as a 2 night stay so we could visit Carlsbad Caverns. What a great location. Short drive to the park. As for the amenities everything was top notch for an older building....and so so clean. I dontoften tip the cleaning staff byt I did this time. Leo at the front desk was amazing and helpful. We needed supplies for our road tri and Walmart was right next door and walkable. Diner two nights in a row at the Chinese Buffet 5 min walk. Was.a.little sad that the hot tub was out of order but thesethings happen. Breakfast at hotel amazing both days. They also put out cookies at night. Coffee always seemed to be on and hot."

"This is a gem of a hotel, which we picked for our trip from TX to CA. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The stay came with 2 tokens for drinks at the bar - the on tap IPA was excellent. Heated salt water pool, food truck on-site, amazing artwork and a real mid 20th century feel. Everything we could wish for."
