"This home is gorgeous! The grounds are incredible, the views are stunning. We had daily visits from toucans and other beautiful birds and butterflies. We heard the monkeys but never saw them. One morning a pizote ran through the backyard. Walter and Adolf were super helpful with anything we needed while we were there. We asked Adolf about an excursion that was a bit off the beaten path. He fully delivered with an excursion that could not have been further from tourists! This was a truly rural experience with a friend of his named Rim, who met us at the end of one of the rivers in his boat, took us to his home on the beach island of Playa Garza where him and his wife cooked us lunch, showed us around the island a bit and basically left us to explore the island and beautiful beach alone. Rim even gave me a whole fresh red snapper he had caught to take with me back to our home Fair warning, this excursion was great, but it was waaaayyyy off the beaten path so truly for those looking for a bit of an adventure. Everything else was as mentioned by others. 4WD is a must. The road up to the house is long, windy and up and down some pretty serious hills. I recommend video recording the way up and down the first time on your phone just in case. All in all an absolute amazing experience! "

"The near all glass house sits atop a rainforest with fabulous views and a great outdoor pool. It is also minutes from pristine beaches. The kitchen is well equipped, and the bedrooms comfortable with private bathrooms and balconies. The host was super attentive and responsive It also comes with a local concierge who greeted us upon arrival and arranged superb outings. We will come back for sure."

"Large spacious home with great amenities. Loved the refrigerator with ice and cold water. Water pressure was amazing as well! Kids loved the pool! Beautiful home set in the mountains behind two gates, felt extra safe. Definitely a 4x4 needed to reach this home. The home could benefit from a newer grill or new burners as we love to BBQ. It was nice to have a crockpot. Loved the gas stove. There were a couple inconveniences that will be addressed for future renters. Our overall stay was nice and we cannot wait to return to Ojochal. There are amazing restaurants there! If it your first time coming to Costa Rica and this area, do not attempt to locate this home after dark. The Waze app is a must for any diving around Costa Rica. It can locate any place! Perfect location for hiking and seeing more wildlife. Be sure to visit the Uvita Waterfall, you won't want to miss it. The Ojochal Waterfall is nice but more expensive."

"The staff are all wonderful people. They made us feel right at home. The ambience was amazing, we saw and heard a ton of wildlife. The howler monkeys sure do know how to make an entrance. The gazebo by the water was tranquil and I recharged after spending time in the hammock. The food was delicious as breakfast comes with the stay. I totally recommend this place for anyone wanting to be close to things yet feel like you are far away."

"No words can describe the beauty and peacefulness of this property. The grounds are spectacular and our room was gorgeous overlooking the ocean and sunsets. Upon our arrival we were greeted with refreshing beverages and brought to our room where we saw Toucans and Parrots . In our two day visit we saw monkeys and frogs and lots of butterflies! It was so hard to leave. The entire staff was so kind and friendly and helpful. It was the highlight of our 10day Costa Rican vacation. We will definitely return again. . "
