"We found The Big Island Rereat to be just as good as the pictures! It was easy to find right off Ali'i drive. Check in and out were both very easy. We stayed in the Ocean View room which was just as advertised. There is no AC which is in the room description so there was no surprise. Ceiling fan and to other larger standing fans kept the air moving through the room. There is a common area which has beach chairs to use and some snorkel gear and boogie boards as well and an outdoor kitchen...

"The studio was private, clean, and offered nice amenities. You can tell a lot of care and attention to detail went into the place. The owners were very responsive. We felt very welcome when we arrived, finding a treat and local music playing.
