"I am not sure if this was a typical "cave" hotel -- but the rooms definitely had that kind of finishing and look and feel. The staff were very helpful and coordial. The lady at the reception (Fifi) definitely worth mentioning - coz she was a great assistance in arranging for stuff. While, the restaurent served average breakfast, the other meals were pretty scrumptous though. Overall a very pleasant stay, would definitely choose this hotel again. "

"Lovely breakfast and service was very nice. It's HOT in Cappadocia the 1st week in June.. only 1 fan available for 10 Rooms and we were VERY luck to get it! NO AIR CONDITIONING ...but room had some natural coolness from the cave structure. Windowed Shower was fantastic. We Had a TRUE 2 bedroom suite for 3. Hard to find ! LOCATION IS FANTASTIC. Half block to the Main Street. Near all great restaurants without having to climb most hills. They gave us entry o a nearby pool ($20euro to enter)...

"I loved my stay here. The staff of this family owned hotel are fantastic and will help with any requests. The room was gorgeous. Breakfast and staff were so kind ( gave me honey and ginger for a sore throat). The view of Goreme is spectacular, lots of comfy places to soak in the view- early morning as balloons float across sky or evening sunsets. "

"Elif Star was a great small hotel for our and a friend's two night trip to see Cappadocia. The rooms were pleasant, the water was hot, the bed comfortable, and breakfast sufficient. Our hosts were welcoming. Right in Goreme but a block or two up from the busier downtown, the location was quiet and accessible. Kadir was very helpful and friendly. The weather did not cooperate for a balloon ride this time but it was good enough for sightseeing. We enjoyed shopping at Sultan's Charm for Turkish...
