"My daughter and I were in town for one night to tour RPI. We certainly chose well with our overnight accommodations. Although the house is quaint, extra clean, and decorated perfectly, the star of our stay was the innkeeper, John. From the moment we walked in, it was like seeing an old friend. John was friendly, kind and took excellent care of us. His hospitality made us want to come back again....very soon. "

"It took two tries to get a room that either the heat worked or where there wasn’t a smell and leftover drinks in the fridge. The third was fine. We slept well. Breakfast was nice. Robin the attendant was very friendly. The front desk was very nice. Overall a good stay but an unfortunate start. "

"The hotel has seen its wear and tear, that being said, it was very clean and comfortable. They could do with touching up chipped paint in the rooms but for the price I’ll take cleanliness overall which they had. "
