"I’ve stayed here multiple times. It’s an older property which hasn’t quite been updated with modern features such as ample outlets and dated fixtures, but it’s a pleasant place to stay. It sort of has antique charm. Staff are friendly and there’s restaurant in the main building. It’s also walked to the center of town for more restaurants, bars, and shopping."

"The old Village Inn is a rare opportunity to step back in time and stay right on the square in a git Maine a beautiful little coastal town you can easily walk down to the beach or Perkins Cove or marginal Way and there are several entertainment and dining venues away the old Village Inn itself has an excellent chef and staff and I endure the nostalgia the end is under new ownership and they have changed the menu. "The sunset suite was wonderful. Great location and loved the balcony’s off the living room and bedroom. My two issues were how limited and confusing parking was. Nothing to put on your car and you’re crammed into this small lot making you scared to leave the spot if you had to. Also water pressure and temperature was terrible in the shower. The music from the bar down below is quite loud however I knew that going into making my reservation. I would definitely recommend this place and would stay...

"My wife and I stayed at the Grasshopper Inn, and had one of the best hotel experiences out of all of our trips so far. The property was spotlessly clean, well maintained, and quite new.
