"This is an outstanding hotel, with great customer service. For example, I said I liked the tea at breakfast - and I then had (without asking) a gift of tea sent to my room by hotel management. Absolutely outstanding! The one minor development is I was there with my 14 year old son. He wasn’t allowed anywhere near the indoor pool. This policy needs a rethink. "

"The staff at this hotel are amazing! They are so helpful, so friendly, so welcoming! The first day we arrived they immediately helped us settle in. Showed us the beautiful premises and gave us some info about the area, where to eat etc. the lady was so sweet, she was always engaging our kids and even gave them beautiful colouring books which my kids loved. The breakfast buffet is amazing and the parking is easy, safe and free. The area is very walkable and close to a lot of attractions. The room is big and comfortable, we had a huge bed and big sofa bed. There is a really great communal kitchen which you can also eat in. I highly recommend staying here. This place was a highlight of our trip. "

"I liked using this hotel as my base for many activities. I could walk to the beginning of the Seven Hanging Valleys Trail in about ten minutes by heading east. The views are spectacular. I could walk ten minutes west to get to an excellent place for breakfast or lunch "Earth Shop and Cafe." We had a car so we could also do outings, for example, Praia Nova (for the beach and the lovely chapel on the cliffs), and Silves for the castle and the storks by the river as you enter the town. "
