"This spacious, comfortable apartment is filled with light and a joy to return to from exploring the Algarve. "My experience was good, the property has a average size but for the price its charge it should have a bit of more comfort, it should have better mattresses. Very hard and uncomfortable, missing like a kettle, the rest was good!! cleanliness excellente, bed sheet very clean i was quite impressed. "We had the most amazing stay at Matt and Gabrielle’s property. The place is so well equipped, left us wanting for nothing. The location was ideal, very central and only a few minutes walk from the beach, restaurants and shops. The communication with Matt and Gabrielle was so welcoming, easy and fast. Sonia was there to greet us when we arrived. Again…very welcoming and she was incredibly helpful. Airport pick up and drop offs were organised for us, and we were accommodated to regarding check in...

"We arrived during a rain storm. After the check in, we found that our apartment was leaking water through the roof. After a phone call with the host, we were transferred to another apartment, which was also flooded. Finally, a third apartment was dry enough, but it was really run down and without WiFi (very important to us). After agreeing to stay there for a week until an adequate apartment was free, we were again transferred to a 4th apartment, which was nicely furnished, but had black mold on...

"The apartment has everything you need and is very clean. The host was great! Helena kept in contact with us and came to visit us to check that we were happy. If you’re planning on staying here with the intention to travel to surrounding areas I’d advise you to rent a car. Getting a cab can be quite difficult at times. Other than that, this place is perfect!"

"The property met all our expectations. Appliances were quite new and obviously worked well. Took awhile to figure out European controls on various appliances, even after Sandra showed us how. Sandra provided heater to get us through cooler temperatures. The couple of times we needed her, she was very helpful and prompt. Even gave us sack of oranges and lemons from her own trees. Our arrival was delayed a few hours, but Sandra waited and was still smiling when we arrived."

"This is a lovely area to stay. The location, view and access to the coast path and beaches was perfect. Contact with the host and the manager was always responded to quickly. We had a problem with the heating when we arrived (it was cold in March) and the manager attended very quickly and sorted it for us. "We loved our stay. The location of the vila was a peaceful little beach style apartment with a wonderful porch to relax and listen to birds and hear waves from the beach close by. The apartment was cozy with all necessary amenities and is nice and close to amazing beaches and restaurants & shops in the quaint town of Ferragudo! September was a great time to visit as it wasn't too busy and the weather was perfect for the beach:)"

"From our experience, NH holds every nickel a prisoner when it comes to the upgrading and maintenance of its rooms. Spacious but Spartan. The entrance door was jammed so that it took a full FBI style crosscheck to get it open every time. The sliding glass door didn't actually lock, fortunately as we forgot the keys inside once. While other accommodations offered free port and various other welcome gifts, we were met with fee-based everything in the room. Having to 'consider' a twenty Euro penalty...

"Staff friendly and rooms very clean. Have stayed in Praia da Rocha several times before but never at Flor da Rocha. Only disadvantages, staying in late March the balcony always seemed to be in the shade. At no point, even on the sunny warmer days was it ever a sun trap. Think this is due to the other buildings close by and the shape of the building itself. Other disadvantage, which isn't the apartments fault are some of the other guests. Sound proofing between apartments isn't great...
