"The owners of the place are fantastic, warm people, they welcomed us as family, despite the language problems :-) The flat is very clean, very spacious and perfectly equipped. The decoration, furniture and equipment is a bit old-school and used already, but still it is a great value for the price. We loved the garden, with small pool. Car is a must there. The way to Porto is very straight forward and takes about 20 minutes, same for the nearest beach. We highly recommend this place!"

"This is by far the best property I've ever booked through Expedia. The house sits on the edge of a beautiful working farm, across an ancient Roman bridge. A lovely ten-minute walk into town, you cross another bridge that offers a spectacular view the river. "The apartment is very nice, very comfortable, and larger than it appears to be from the pictures. The internet was very fast, excellent for streaming movies. The water pressure was excellent, and the hot water is supplied by an instant gas heater, so no problems with that. There is no dishwasher, but that was not a problem. The beds are comfortable. The apartment was quiet--we almost never heard our neighbors. And the LOCATION is FANTASTIC! Right on the Praça, in Old Town--it was so beautiful....

"Nice house, the description is pretty accurate. Quite comfortable for 8 people. We stayed in the mid of summer; the pool was very warm. The river was also warm and good for swimming.
