"We stayed 2 nights in the amazing dome room ! It is spacious and well furnished and has everything you need ! The view is brearhtaking with beautiful sunset in the evening ! Big property that offers some acitivities (zipline, horse riding and small hike) ; you will be welcomed by the owner that will do everything to make your stay even better. Place is quite isolated, so they propose dîner and breakfast that really worth it and quite cheap for quality !"

"Unique open air lodge. Open the large windows and photograph birds ehile sitting in the dining area. Large garden grounds and a private mountain trail. The full board meals were fabulous. Would highly recommend."

"Truly one of a kind! We stayed in an east bungalow surrounded by forest, monkeys, birds and the sound of the waterfall. Each bungalow is private and well appointed. From the staff to the food to the pools and activities, it is a 5 star experience all around. Just over an hour from LIR airport, this should be on your list of places not to miss while in CR."

"The villa has a great view of the lake and is extremely quiet. It’s secluded but still close to the main road and we felt like it was a safe area The directions provided by the owner are good but it is hard to find at night. The furniture, bedding and amenities are pretty old but we were not expecting 5 star. We loved Nuevo Arenal compared to the very touristy La Fortuna but there are of course more activities there. Overall very happy with the villa"

"We had a fabulous two days at Finca La Anita. Pablo and Ana were fabulous hosts and we truly enjoyed learning from their knowledge of all things Costa Rican, especially the history and quality of chocolate and coffee. We stayed in cabin 8 which was comfortably rustic with a refrigerator. We found the temperature in mid Feb to be approx 10 degrees C cooler than the coast. Travel by SUV is best as the road is quite rough at times. The home cooked meals were authentic, yummy and filling. We loved both the peacefullness, the nature and the birds at Finca La Anita. Many thanks Pablo and Ana, we are already looking forward to our next visit."

"We stayed here for easy access to Liberia airport and so glad we found it! Everything you need is on the property so we didn’t even leave. Restaurants, free breakfast, hot springs, entertainment for family. Rooms very comfortable. Every night we enjoyed amazing sunsets at bar/restaurant-definitely a highlight! Also saw lots of wildlife around property. "
