"We have stayed with Kathy several times and her homes never disappoint. They are clean and welcoming in a beautiful rural setting. The fact that they are the closest rentals to our son and DIL is the icing on the cake. Kathy is excellent at communication and I know we will stay at Shepherd's Rest again."

"Location, location, location! So quiet and peaceful. We stayed during winter so even more peaceful. Did not catch and fish but were told they migrate in winter. That was evident as we are avid anglers. Mt. Airy has all services and supplies one might need plus plenty of places to eat and historical things to do. The cons: Well water with sulfur smell.
