"Mermaid House did not disappoint. Our party of 5 enjoyed our stay. The staff took very good care of us. They were helpful, friendly and knowledgeable.I would definitely recommend this property. The owner was also quick to respond to my numerous questions "

"This was easily one of our best vacations ever! The villa was the perfect size and location for our group of 19. With unused rooms--we turned one into the "massage suite"--we were able to spread out and easily enjoy our own spaces. Visiting three different beaches, each within 10-15 minutes drive, we loved the location and felt safe given the upscale nature of the neighborhood. "We stayed at barefoot with 21 friends to celebrate my husband’s 50th. Ben and Nina were truly incredible with their quick responses and information needed to plan for such a large group. Airport transfers, food, excursions, events, et all. The all inclusive food option is great. We had a few vegetarians in our group, which I’d recommend you specify when taking this option. "Walkable to the beach was nice; had AC&Fans to cool off; English translation bit of a challenge. Kitchen counters bedding needs upgrading & some toilet plumbing issues. Needs handyman touch visit. Communication when worked to english through translator was awesome. Didnt have dryer for rainy days.Police station nearby was nice as other units could have very loud music....& As well close to strip of bars thus some overflow music"

"The unit that VRBO had me prepay for did not exist!! I was in another country with no where to stay. I tried to contact VRBO numerous times but this issue has still not been resolved.
